Hello, I’m Alexandra Mirka an illustrator and graphic designer based in Bucharest, Romania.

I focus mostly on animal imagery, symbolism, and the liminal state between sleep and wakefulness.

The first half is a natural reaction to me growing up glued to Zoology atlases, documentaries and playing a lot of Zoo Tycoon.

The latter part is based on my own dreamscape and interpretations of various subjects such as Tarot, Myths, Mysticism through the means of symbolism.

As a freelancer I create promotional Graphic design, app & website UI/UX design and lately motion design. I’ve also worked on game assets, album and book covers, character design, and branding. I like doing a lot of things and I can’t stop being curious to do even more.

In my free time, when I’m not knee deep in the latest gaming conquest (I’m looking at you Hades 2), I’m working on illustrations and general shennanigans.
