Hello, I'm Alexandra Mirka an illustrator and graphic designer based in Bucharest, Romania.
I focus mostly on animal imagery, symbolism, and the liminal state between sleep and wakefulness.
The first half is a natural reaction to me growing up glued to Zoology atlases, documentaries and Zoo Tycoon.
The latter part is based on my own dreamscape and interpretations of various subjects such as Tarot, Myths, Mysticism through the means of symbolism.
As a freelancer I'm versed in promotional Graphic design, app and website UI/UX design. With involvement in game assets, album and book covers, character design, and branding.
In my free time, when I'm not knee deep in the latest gaming conquest (I'm looking at you Hades 2), I'm working on illustrations and general shennanigans.
